Dinner starts with such appetizers as seafood burritos, fabulous Carolina crab cakes, or assorted Down East dips and spreads, such as the restaurant's signature pimiento cheese with candied walnuts, pickled Granny Smith apples and Lavosh crackers. Diners may choose entrees of fresh local seafood, choice steaks, chicken, veal and lamb. Each is served with fresh vegetables and delicious breads baked daily. Insiders suggest the grilled pork chop stuffed with fresh mozzarella, roasted tomatoes and pesto with a Marsala demi-glace. Top off your meal with pecan pie or any other dessert, because they are all made on the premises and all are delicious. Beaufort Grocery Co. offers Sunday Brunch, a take-out menu and a full delicatessen with meats, cheeses, homemade salads and breads. Private dining facilities are next door at 115 Queen Street. Beaufort Grocery Co. can cater any event on or off premise for 10 up to 1,000 people. The restaurant has all ABC permits. They close on Tuesdays. Otherwise, it's full speed ahead.
